Freedom from the Spirit of Impurity

I got hooked on pornography during my teenage years and developed the habit of masturbation. It became a struggle that often left me feeling guilty and sad.

One day, Pastor Robert Kayanja held a crusade in Nansana. During the crusade, I felt prompted to go for baptism. Although I had been baptized before, I felt the need to do it again. I got a change of clothes and went to church. I remember that Pastor Andrew Mwesigwa baptized me that day. He prayed in tongues and immersed me in the water. Something happened in that water. The spirit of impurity left me, and I came out feeling clean and free. Several months after that experience, I got married.

The internet is full of pornographic sites, but I thank God for church testimonies, online sermons, Christian books, Christian movies, and the study of Scripture. Listening to and engaging with such material helps me stay clean.

Always remember that when demons are cast out of your life, you should make it a habit to study the Word of God. The Word of God has the power to save, deliver, cleanse, and preserve your soul. When you remain empty, demons may return with reinforcements and leave you worse than before.
